On a closed hypersurface \((M^n,g)\) embedded in the high-dimensional Euclidean vector space \(\mathbb R^{n+1}\) the authors assume that the coefficients of the second fundamental form of the associated evolving hypersurface are bigger, up to a multiplicative positive constant, than of those of the Riemannian metric, then they state that the first eigenvalue of the \(p\)-Laplacian operator on \(M^n\) is bigger than, up to a positive multiplicative constant, on an \(n\)-sphere such that its area coincides to that of \(M^n\).
