The authors consider periodic solutions of a second-order differential equation with a weak repulsive singularity. By the use of the Poincare-Birkhoff theorem, they prove that, for any sufficiently large positive integer \(m\), the equation has at least two $2m\pi$-periodic solutions having exactly one impact in the period interval \([0,2m\pi)\). They also prove that there are periodic solutions having a given number \(n\geq 2\) of impacts in their period time.
