    Let \(d \geq 2\), let \(\mathbb{S}^d\) be the unit sphere in \(\mathbb{R}^{d+1}\), let \(\mathbb{T} \simeq [0,2 \pi)\) with \(0\sim 2 \pi\), and let \(\Delta_{\mathbb{S}^d}\) be the (positive) Laplacian on \(\mathbb{S}^d\). Moreover, let \(2 \leq p \leq \infty\), \(2 \leq q < \infty\), and set \[ \kappa_{p,q} := \begin{cases} \frac{d-1}{2} (\frac{1}{2} - \frac{1}{p}) + (\frac{1}{2} - \frac{1}{q}), & 2 \leq p \leq \frac{2(d+1)}{d-1}, \\ d (\frac{1}{2} - \frac{1}{p}) - \frac{1}{q}, & p > \frac{2(d+1)}{d-1}. \end{cases} \] Then, the authors show for any \(s \geq \kappa_{p,q}\) the following Strichartz estimate: \[ \| e^{i t \Delta_{\mathbb{S}^d}} f(z) \|_{L^p_z[\mathbb{S}^d, L^q_t(\mathbb{T})]} \leq C(p,q,s) \| f \|_{W^s(\mathbb{S}^d)}, \] where \(e^{i t \Delta_{\mathbb{S}^d}}\) is the semi-group associated with \(\Delta_{\mathbb{S}^d}\), \(W^s(\mathbb{S}^d)\) is the Sobolev space of order \(s\) on \(\mathbb{S}^d\), and \(C(p,q,s)\) is a constant depending on \(p,q,s\). The estimate is sharp in any dimension \(d \geq 2\) in the sense that it fails, if \(q=2\) and \(s<\kappa_{p,2}\). With the help of the above Strichartz estimate the authors prove the existence of a unique solution \(u \in C(\mathbb{T}, W^s_x(\mathbb{S}^d)) \cap L^p_x(\mathbb{S}^d, L^2_t(\mathbb{T}))\), \(s \geq \kappa_{p,2}\), of the initial value problem \[ \begin{split} i u_t &= (-\Delta_{\mathbb{S}^d} + V(x,t))u, \quad (t,x) \in \mathbb{T} \times \mathbb{S}^d, \\ u(0,x)&=f(x), \quad x \in \mathbb{S}^d, \end{split} \] provided that \(\| V \|_{L^q_x(\mathbb{S}^d, L^\infty_t(\mathbb{T}))}\) is sufficiently small and \(\frac{1}{q} + \frac{2}{p}=1\).
