\textit{J. Lehner} [Am. J. Math. 71, 136--148 (1949; Zbl 0031.39502); Am. J. Math. 71, 373--386 (1949; Zbl 0032.15902)] showed that the coefficients \(C_{j}(n)\) of the modular \(j\)-invariant satisfy \[ 2^{3a+8}3^{2b+3}5^{c+1}7^{d}|C_{j}(2^{a}3^{b}5^{c}7^{d}n) \] for all $s,b,c,d$, and $n\in\mathbb{N}$. In a similar sense, \textit{W. Duke} and \textit{P. Jenkins} proved that the Fourier coefficients $c(n)$ of certain weakly holomorphic modular forms of positive even weight $k$ for $\Gamma:=\mathrm{SL}_2(\mathbb{Z})$ are divisible by $n^{k-1}$ for every $n\in\mathbb{N}$ [Pure Appl. Math. Q. 4, No. 4, 1327--1340 (2008; Zbl 1200.11027)]. Some other authors found related results. More recently, \textit{D. Broadhurst} and \textit{W. Zudilin} [J. Aust. Math. Soc. 107, No. 1, 9--25 (2019; Zbl 1470.11068)] observed that the coefficients of a certain meromorphic modular form of weight 4 for $\Gamma_0(8)$ with poles in the upper half-plane seemed to satisfy $n|c(n)$ for $n\in\mathbb{N}$. This result was proved by \textit{Y. Li} and \textit{M. Neururer} [Int. J. Number Theory 15, No. 5, 907--924 (2019; Zbl 1456.11058)]. In the paper under review, the authors study the divisibility properties of Fourier coefficients of meromorphic modular forms of positive even weight $2k$ which are associated to positive definite integral binary quadratic forms. They follow the works of Broadhurst and Zudilin, Li and Neururer, Pasol and Zudilin. They also show that certain linear combinations of these meromorphic modular forms have integral Fourier coefficients and satisfy the divisibility condition $n^{k-1}|c(n)$ for $n\in\mathbb{N}$. Further, they study the nonvanishing and sign changes of these Fourier coefficients, and some connections to the partition function and the coefficients of the modular \(j\)-invariant.
