Using the method of block decomposition, the authors show the boundedness of Hausdorff operators on Herz spaces with variable exponent and the boundedness of multilinear Hausdorff operators on the product of weighted Herz and Morrey-Herz spaces with variable exponent. These results extend some results in [\textit{N. M. Chuong} et al., Integral Transforms Spec. Funct. 31, No. 1, 62--86 (2020; Zbl 1427.42025)] to the Heisenberg group with some modifications.
