Elasticities of Krull monoids with infinite cyclic class group (Q2074401)

Let \(H\) be a Krull monoid with class group \(G\), \(G_p\subset G\) the set of classes which contains prime divisors and \(\rho(H)\) its elasticity. In this paper, the authors study the case \(G=\mathbb{Z}\) and they give characterizations of the elasticity of \(G_p\) in terms of the free group generated by its positive elements if \(\sup(G_p)=+\infty\). If \(G_p\) is bounded, they give an upper bound for \(\rho(G_p)\).
