Lagrangian loci in moduli of abelian surfaces (Q2087697)

This article is concerned with the characterization of Lagrangian loci in moduli of abelian varieties. It is shown that in the moduli of abelian surfaces any smooth surface germ arises from a Lagrangian fibration of abelian surfaces and that any smooth curve germ arises from a Lagrangian fibration if and only if the curve is null with respect to the natural conformal structure on the moduli of abelian surfaces.
