A geometric depiction of Solomon-Tukachinsky's construction of open Gromov-Witten invariants (Q2089074)

\textit{J. P. Solomon} and \textit{S. B. Tukachinsky} [Geom. Funct. Anal. 31, No. 5, 1245--1320 (2021; Zbl 1494.53098)] used bounding chains in Fukaya's \(A_{\infty}\)-algebras to define genus zero open Gromov-Witten invariants with boundary constraints for a Lagrangian submanifold of arbitrary dimension, which were previously known only in dimensions 2 and 3 by the works of \textit{J.-Y. Welschinger} [Invent. Math. 162, No. 1, 195--234 (2005; Zbl 1082.14052); Math. Ann. 356, No. 3, 1163--1182 (2013; Zbl 1280.53074)]. In this paper, the author gives a (self-contained) geometric constructions of such open Gromov-Witten invariants under weaker topological assumptions. Such a geometric perspective is used also in the author's work [Int. Math. Res. Not. 2022, No. 9, 7021--7055 (2022; Zbl 1498.53110)] to relate the Solomon-Tukachinsky invariants to the Welschinger open invariants of symplectic 6-manifolds.
