An \(L\)-system is an array of operators, called the main operator, the state-space operator, and the channel operator, that are associated in a certain way. This paper particularly deals with Schrödinger \(L\)-systems whose main operators are extensions of Schrödinger operators with deficiency indices \((1,1)\) on the half-line. In the paper, the authors introduce the concept of the coupling entropy for a Schrödinger \(L\)-system and relate it to the dissipation coefficient for its main operator. Using the newly introduced concepts, the following questions are addressed for the Schrödinger \(L\)-systems with impedance functions in the generalized Donoghue classes as well as those with extremal and \(\beta\)-sectional main operators: \begin{itemize} \item[(1)] Describe Schrödinger \(L\)-systems with a given coupling entropy and minimal dissipation coefficient. \item[(2)] Describe Schrödinger \(L\)-systems with a given dissipation coefficient and maximal coupling entropy. \end{itemize} Lastly, two examples are provided to illustrate the main results in the paper.
