The authors discuss a generalization of the horocycle flow in the setting of Anosov flows on closed orientable manifolds. They use the concept of renormalisation dynamics to study horocycle integrals and provide an expansion for these integrals in terms of generalized eigendistributions associated with the eigenvalue of the adjoint of a weighted transfer operator. It is proved that the speed of convergence of the horocycle integrals to the invariant measure is controlled by these eigendistributions. The paper introduces new anisotropic Banach spaces, which are a standard tool in hyperbolic dynamics, and provides their construction for \(C^r\) Anosov flows. These spaces are flow analogues to those constructed in previous works to study hyperbolic diffeomorphisms. Section 3 establishes properties of the transfer operator semigroup, its generator, and the resolvent, which are used in Section 4 to show the main results. These include sufficient conditions for intrinsicness of resonances and portability of Dolgopyat bounds on the resolvent when navigating between different Banach spaces. The results of this paper are important for the study of dynamical and geometric problems in hyperbolic dynamics, including the dynamical determinant and zeta function associated with the transfer operator.
