      The authors consider a class of boundary value problems with noinstantaneous impulses \[ \begin{aligned} {-u}''(t) &= D_uF_i(t,u(t),v(t)), & t \in (s_i,t_{i+1}],\ i = 0,1,\dots,N,\\ {-v}''(t) &= D_vF_i(t,u(t),v(t)), & t \in (s_i,t_{i+1}],\ i = 0,1,\dots,N,\\ \Delta u'(t_i) &= I_i(u(t_i)), & i = 1,\dots,N,\\ \Delta v'(t_i) &= S_i(v(t_i)), & i = 1,\dots,N,\\ u'(t) &= u'(t_i+), & t \in (t_i,s_i], \ i = 1,\dots,N,\\ v'(t) &= v'(t_i+), & t \in (t_i,s_i], \ i = 1,\dots,N,\\ u'(s_i+) &= u'(s_i-), & i = 1,\dots,N,\\ v'(s_i+) &= v'(s_i-), & i = 1,\dots,N,\\ &u(0) = u(T) = v(0) = v(T) = 0, \end{aligned} \] where \(0 = s_0 < t_1 < s_1 < t_2 < s_2 < \ldots < t_N < s_N < t_{N+1} = T\), \(D_uF_i\), \(D_vF_i :(s_i,t_{i+1}] \times \mathbb{R}^2 \to \mathbb{R}\), \(I_i\), \(S_i : \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}\) are continuous, \(N\) is a positive integer. The authors obtain several existence results for at least one classical solution as well as infinitely many classical solutions. In order to achieve this they use variational approach (Mountain Pass Theorem).
