The authors provide a point-wise convergence estimate and a Voronovskaya-type formula for modified Baskakov-Kantorovich operators based on \(\mu\)-integral and preserving exponential functions. For a given \(f\in L^{1}([0,+\infty))\), such operators are defined as follows \[ (\widetilde{K}_{n}f)(x):=a'_{n}(x) \,n \, e^{\mu x}\sum_{k=0}^{+\infty}v_{n+1,k}(a_{n}(x))\int_{k/n}^{(k+1)/n}e^{-\mu t}f(t)dt, \;\;\; x\in [0,+\infty),\;\; n\in\mathbb{N}, \] where \(v_{n,k}\) is the Baskakov basis, given by \[ v_{n,k}(x)=\binom{n+k-1}{k}\frac{x^k}{(1+x)^{n+k}} \, , \] and \[ a_{n}(x)=\frac{e^{-\mu x/n}-1}{1-e^{\mu/n}}. \] Finally, the authors also establish the order of convergence and a quantitative estimate in some exponential weighted spaces, using a suitable weighted modulus of continuity.
