This paper deals with submersion and homogeneous spray geometry. In this paper, author introduces the notion of submersion between two spray structures and proposes the submersion technique in spray geometry. Using this technique, as well as global invariant frames on a Lie group, the general theoretical framework for homogeneous spray geometry is setup. The spray vector field \(\eta\) and the connection operator \(N\) for a homogeneous spray manifold \((G/H,G)\) with a linear decomposition \(g = h + m\) are defined. These notions generalize their counter parts in homogeneous Finsler geometry. The author proves a correspondence between \(G\) and \(\eta\) when the given decomposition is reductive, and that between geodesics on \((G/H,G)\) and integral curves of \(-\eta\). Further, the ordinary differential equations on \(m\) describing parallel translations on \((G/H,G)\) are obtained. Finally, the S-curvature and Riemann curvature of \((G/H,G)\) are calculated, generalizing L. Huang's curvature formulae for homogeneous Finsler manifolds. This work seems to be very nice and it opens the door of new researches in pure as well as applied areas in near future.
