Let \(A^s_{p,q} (\mathbb R^n) = A^s_q L_p (\mathbb R^n)\), \(A\in \{B,F \}\), \(s\in \mathbb R\) and \(0<p,q \le \infty\) be the nowadays well-known function spaces on the Euclidean \(n\)-space \(\mathbb R^n\). These spaces have been generalized in several directions. In particular, several modifications of the Lebesgue spaces \(L_p (\mathbb R^n)\) by more general basic spaces have been considered. This is the topic of the paper dealing with the spaces \(A^s_q L_{p,r} (\mathbb R^n)\), where \(L_{p,r} (\mathbb R^n)\) with \(0<p<\infty\), \(0<r \le \infty\) are the well-known Lorentz spaces. The authors concentrate on the key problems for these spaces: atomic decompositions, wavelet representations, interpolation properties, pointwise multipliers and multiplications algebras. In addition, restrictions and extensions of related spaces \(A^s_q L_{p,r} (\Omega)\) on domains \(\Omega\) in \(\mathbb R^n\) are considered.
