    This paper is concerned with the analysis of positive partially localized solutions of the elliptic equation \[ \Delta_x u + u_{yy} + f(u)=0, \qquad (x,y) \in \mathbb{R}^N \times \mathbb{R}, \tag{1} \] where \(N \geq 2\) and \(f \in C^1(\mathbb{R})\) satisfied \(f(0)=0\) and \(f'(0)<0\). A partially localized solution to (1) is a function \(u=u(x,y)\) such that \(u(x,y) \to 0\) as \(\vert x \vert \to 0\) uniformly with respect to \(y\). The authors investigate the existence of this kind of solution under the additional requirement that \(u\) be quasiperiodic in the \(y\) variable.
