The paper deals with the study of non-collapsed Gromov-Hausdorff limits of polarized Kähler manifolds with Ricci curvature bounded below. The main result (Theorem 1.1 of the paper) states that given \(n,d,v>0\) there exist constants \(k_1,N>0\) such that the following holds: assume that \((M^n_i,L_i,\omega_i)\) is a sequence of compact Kähler manifolds such that \(L_i\) is a Hermitian holomorphic line bundle on \(M_i\) with curvature \(-\sqrt{-1}\omega_i\), \(\mathrm{Ric}(\omega_i)>-\omega_i\), \(\mathrm{vol}(M^n_i)>v\), \(\mathrm{diam}(M^n_i,\omega_i)<d\), and the sequence \((M^n_i,\omega_i)\) has as Gromov-Hausdorff limit the metric space \(X\). Then each \(M^n_i\) can be embedded in a subspace of \(\mathbb C\mathbb P^N\) using sections of \(L_i^{k_1}\) and \(X\) is homeomorphic to a normal projective variety in \(\mathbb C\mathbb P^N\). Moreover, by applying suitable projective transformations, a subsequence of \(M^n_i\) converges to \(X\) as algebraic varieties. This generalizes the theorem of \textit{S. Donaldson} and \textit{S. Sun} [Acta Math. 213, No. 1, 63--106 (2014; Zbl 1318.53037)], where an upper bound on the Ricci curvature is also assumed, in addition to the lower bound. One defines the regular set \(\mathcal R\subset X\) of the above metric space \(X\), as \(\mathcal R=\bigcap_{\epsilon>0}\mathcal R_\epsilon\), where \(R_\epsilon\) is the set of points \(p\in X\) such that \(\lim_{r\to0}r^{-2n}\mathrm{vol}(B(p,r))>\frac{\pi^n}{n!}-\epsilon\), and \(B(p,r)\) is the ball of radius \(r\) with respect to the metric of \(X\). The authors prove in Theorem 1.4 that the singular set \(X\setminus\mathcal R\) is equal to a countable union of analytic subvarieties of \(X\). To establish their main theorem, the authors prove the ``partial \(C^0\)-estimate'', conjectured by \textit{G. Tian} for Fano manifolds [in: Proceedings of the international congress of mathematicians (ICM), August 21-29, 1990, Kyoto, Japan. Volume I. Tokyo etc.: Springer-Verlag. 587--598 (1991; Zbl 0747.53038)], under the assumption that the Ricci curvature is only bounded below (Theorem 1.3).
