    Let \(\mathscr{A}\) be an associative ring not necessarily to be commutative with center \(\mathscr{Z(A)}\). An ideal \(\mathscr{T}\) is said to be a semi-prime ideal if \(\mathscr{T}\neq \mathscr{A}\) and for all \(a\in \mathscr{A}\), \(a\mathscr{A}a \subseteq \mathscr{T}\) implies \(a\in \mathscr{T}\) and \(\mathscr{A}\) is a semi-prime ring if \(\mathscr{T} =0\) is a semi-prime ideal of \(\mathscr{A}\). For any \(\mathscr{S} \subseteq \mathscr{A}\) and a ring \(\mathscr{R}\), a map \(f:\mathscr{R}\rightarrow \mathscr{A}\) is called a \(\mathscr{S}\)-commuting map on \(\mathscr{R}\) if \([f(a),a]\in \mathscr{S}\) for all \(a\in \mathscr{R}\). In this article, the authors focus on exploring the structure of a quotient ring \(\mathscr{A}/\mathscr{T}\). They study the differential identities in a semi-prime ideal of an arbitrary ring using \(\mathscr{T}\)-commuting generalized derivations. A number of results are discussed with examples.
