On the even solutions of the Toda system: a degree argument approach (Q2135215)

In this paper, the authors study a three components Toda system and prove the existence of even solutions with prescribed asymptotic behaviors. They apply the degree argument approach to construct the proof, which does not take advantage of the integrability of Toda system. Therefore, their method may be extended to non-integrable systems.
