In the present paper the authors consider the flag manifold \(F_{1,2}(\mathbb{C}^3)=\mathrm{SU}(3)/(\mathrm{U}(1)\times \mathrm{U}(1))\) and its pseudo-Riemannian counterpart \(\mathrm{SU}(2,1)/(\mathrm{U}(1)\times \mathrm{U}(1))\) equipped with a nearly Kähler structure. This is one of 6-dimensional nearly Kähler manifolds known (others are \(S^6\), \(S^3\times S^3\) and \(\mathbb{C}P^3\)). They classify almost complex totally geodesic submanifolds in these flag manifolds and express the curvature tensor in terms of the nearly Kähler structure \(J\) and the three canonical orthogonal complex structures.
