In this paper, the authors investigate the global dynamics of a class of planar Filippov systems with two parameters, which is given by \[ \binom{\dot{x}}{\dot{y}} = \begin{cases} \binom{1}{x^2 -\alpha} \quad &\text{if } y>0, \\ \binom{-1}{-x+ \beta} \quad &\text{if } y>0, \\ \end{cases} \] where \((\alpha, \beta) \in \mathbb{R}^2\) is the vector of the parameters. When \((\alpha, \beta)=(0, 0)\), the origin \((0,0)\) is a fold of the lower system (i. e. the subsystem in the region \(y<0\)) and a cusp of the upper system (i. e. the subsystem in the region \(y>0\)). The authors are able to obtain the bifurcation diagram in the whole parameter space, which are divide into nine regions by several bifurcation curves, including fold-fold bifurcation curve, regular cusp bifurcation curve, critical crossing limit cycle bifurcation curve, pseudo-saddle connecting sliding homoclinic bifurcation curve and pseudo-saddle-node bifurcation curve. Furthermore, all corresponding global phase portraits in the Poincaré disc are also presented. They show that the fold-fold bifurcation curve intersects the sliding homoclinic bifurcation curve and the pseudo-saddle-node bifurcation curve at two certain nonlocal parameters, respectively.
