The so-called \textit{symplectic quasi-projective space of rank \(m\)}, denoted \(Q_m\), is a subspace of \(Sp(n)\) for \(n \geq m\). \textit{T. Nagao} [J. Math. Kyoto Univ. 49, No. 1, Article ID 12, 225--234 (2009; Zbl 1184.55005)] computed the integral order of the Samelson product of the inclusion with itself for \(n=m=2\), and the order localized away from 2 for \(n=m=3,4,5\), improving on local calculations by \textit{H. Hamanaka} et al. [Topology Appl. 155, No. 11, 1207--1212 (2008; Zbl 1144.55014)]. In this paper, the author determines the orders of the Samelson products \(Q_m \wedge Q_n \to Sp(n)\) for distinct \(m\) and \(n\) between 2 and 5, localized away from 2. As in the previous papers, the method begins by noticing that the inclusion of \(Sp(n)\) into \(Sp(\infty)\) gives a long exact sequence where one of the terms is symplectic \(K\)-theory.
