In the paper under review, the author proves a new result on the quaternary Diophantine inequality with prime numbers of a special form. The result is as follows. Let \(1<c<\frac{967}{805}\). For every sufficiently large positive number \(N\), the Diophantine inequality \[ |p_1^c+p_2^c+p_3^c+p_4^c-N|<\frac{(\log \log N)^6}{(\log N)^{\theta_0}} \] has a solution in prime numbers \(p_1, p_2, p_3, p_4\) such that \(p_1=x^2+y^2+1\). Here \(\theta_0=\frac{1}{2}-\frac{1}{4}e\log2=0.0289\ldots.\)
