The authors study the so-called generalized \(T\)- and \(T^{-1}\)-transformations given by the following skew product: \[ F:X\times Y\to X\times Y,\quad F(x,y) = (f(x), G_{\tau(x)}(y)), \] where \(X\) and \(Y\) are smooth compact manifolds, \(f:X\to X\) is a smooth map preserving a measure \(\mu\), \(G_t:Y\to Y\) is a \(d\)-parameter flow (i.e., \(t\in\mathbb R^d\)) preserving a measure. Finally, \(\tau:X\to \mathbb R^d\) is a smooth map. Then the skew product \(f\) preserves the product measure \(\mu\times\nu\). The main results of the current work concern the statistical properties of \(F\) and \(\mu\times\nu\). More precisely, the following results are obtained: \begin{itemize} \item Mixing rates for \(F\) depending on the mixing rates of \(G\), \(f\) and large deviations for \(\tau\); \item Mixing rates for \(F\) when \(G\) is ergodic, with additional assumptions on \(f\) and \(\tau\); \item The central limit theorem when \(F\) is mixing sufficiently fast. \end{itemize} Finally, some examples are provided.
