The concept of dual extension algebra was firstly introduced in [\textit{C. Xi}, J. Reine Angew. Math. 449, 201--215 (1994; Zbl 0796.16012)] as a study of quasi-hereditary algebras. Let \(B\) and \(A\) be algebra defined by quivers \(Q\) and \(Q'\) with relations \(\rho\) and \(\rho'\) respectively, such that \(Q\) and \(Q'\) have the same vertex set \(\{1,\dots,n\}\). Let \(\Lambda\) be the dual extension \(\mathcal{A}(B,A)\), which is defined by the quiver with the same vertices as \(Q\) and with arrow \(Q_1\sqcup Q'_1\) subject to the relations \(\{\rho,\rho',\alpha\beta|\alpha\in Q_1,\beta\in Q'_1\}\). Let \(\Delta(i)\) be the standard module at the vertex \(i\), and set \(\Delta=\bigoplus_{i=1}^n\Delta(i)\). Let \(L(i)\) be the simple \(B\)-module at the vertex \(i\) and set \(\mathbb{L}=\bigoplus_{i=1}^nL(i)\). The main results show that the Yoneda algebra Ext\(_\Lambda^*(\Delta,\Delta)\) is isomorphic to the dual extension \(\mathcal{A}(\mathrm{Ext}^*_B(\mathbb{L},\mathbb{L}),A)\). There is a natural \(A_\infty\)-structure on the Yoneda algebra Ext\(_\Lambda^*(\Delta,\Delta)\). In general, the computations of higher multiplications of the \(A_\infty\)-structure on the Yoneda algebra are very difficult. The authors provide a clear description on the higher multiplications of the \(A_\infty\)-structure on Ext\(_\Lambda^*(\Delta,\Delta)\) by means of \(\mathrm{Ext}^*_B(\mathbb{L},\mathbb{L})\). As a special case, the Koszulity of \(\mathcal{A}(B,A)\) is also described.
