This paper is concerned with the existence, uniqueness and stability of solutions to the boundary value problem of Riemann-Liouville fractional differential equations in the variable exponent Lebesgue spaces \((L^{p(.)})\). In Section 1 ``Introduction'', the authors mention some references which inspired this article. Section 2 contains some notations, definitions, lemmas and theorems which are used throughout the following sections. In Section 3, the authors study the existence of solutions. Works towards the existence of solutions have been done by many authors including \textit{M. Benchohra} et al. [Surv. Math. Appl. 3, 1--12 (2008; Zbl 1157.26301)] and \textit{J. G.Abdulhad} and \textit{S. A. Murad} [``Local existence theorem of fractional differential qeuations in \(L^p\) space'', AL-Rafidain J. Comput. Sci. Math. 9, No. 2, 71--78 (2012; \url{doi:10.33899/csmj.2012.163702})]. The authors prove the existence of solutions of the auxiliary BVP for RL FDEs (Theorem 3.1) using Banach's contraction principle, and in Theorem 3.2 they prove that Problem 1 possesses a unique solution in \(L^{p(.)}(I)\). In Section 4, the authors prove Ulam-Hyers stability in Theorem 4.1. Finally, the authors examine their theoretical findings by an illustrative numerical example.
