The slice tower of a genuine equivariant spectrum is an equivariant analogue of the Postnikov tower. It played a central role in the solution of the Kervaire invariant one problem in dimensions except 126 by \textit{M. A. Hill} et al. [Ann. Math. (2) 184, No. 1, 1--262 (2016; Zbl 1366.55007)]. Since then, the analysis of the slice tower and the slice spectral sequence has attracted work by various authors. In the paper under review, the author studies slices for the Klein four-group \(K = C_2 \times C_2\). One main result is the characterization of 2-slices for the group \(K\) in terms of a condition on homotopy Mackey functors. Another main result describes the slices of integral suspensions of the equivariant Eilenberg-Mac Lane spectrum for the constant Mackey functor \(\underline{\mathbb Z}\) over \(K\).
