I. Entova-Aizenbud and V. Serganova study the representations of the periplectic Lie superalgebra using the Duflo-Serganova functor. Given a simple \(\mathfrak{p}(n)\)-module \(L\) and a certain element \(x\in \mathfrak{p}(n)\) of rank \(1\), they give an explicit description of the composition factors of the \(\mathfrak{p}(n-1)\)-module \(\text{DS}_x(L)\), which is the homology of the complex \(\Pi M \xrightarrow{x} M \xrightarrow{x} \Pi M\) with \(\Pi\) denoting the parity-change functor \((-)\otimes \mathbb{C}^{0|1}\); this shows that \(\text{DS}_x(L)\) is multiplicity-free (Theorem 3.1.1, page 709). The authors then use this result to give an explicit combinatorial formula for the superdimension of a simple integrable finite-dimensional \(\mathfrak{p}(n)\)-module, based on its highest weight, which reproves the Kac-Wakimoto conjecture for \(\mathfrak{p}(n)\) (Theorem 4.2.1, page 722).
