Conformal metrics with prescribed scalar and mean curvature (Q2164380)

Let \((M,\partial M,g)\) be an \(n\)-dimensional Riemannian manifold with boundary. Given smooth functions \(K\) on \(M\) and \(H\) on \(\partial M\), the authors give sufficient conditions for the existence of a conformally equivalent metric on \(M\) whose scalar curvature is \(K\) and boundary mean curvature is \(H\). The problem reduces to finding positive solutions of a boundary value problem. The existence of such solutions is proved by finding critical points of an energy functional.
