The author starts his paper mentioning many known preliminary results. By using the Schauder-Banach fixed point theorems, he firstly provides sufficient conditions for the existence of the strongly convex and strongly concave solutions of an iterative functional equation of the form \(G\big(f(x), f^{2}(x), \dots, f^{n}(x)\big) = F(x)\) under the monotonicity assumption as well as some additional hypothesis. Here \(f\) is an unknown function, \(f^{i}\) denotes the \(i\)-th iterate of \(f\), \(i = 1, 2, \dots , n\), \(F(x)\) and \(G(x)\) are given functions. Secondly, the author establishes uniqueness and stability of these solutions, as well as their approximate solutions sequence. At the end of the paper, some functional equations are given as examples.
