    It is considered the following \(p\)-Laplacian equation \[ \left(\varphi_p\left(\frac{u'}{\sqrt{1+(u')^2}}\right)\right)' + f(t,u') + g(t,u)= e(t) \eqno{(1)} \] called prescribed mean curvature Rayleigh equation. Here, \(p>1\); \(\varphi_p:\mathbb R\mapsto \mathbb R\) is given by \(\varphi_p(s)=|s|^{p-2}s\) for \(s\neq 0\), \(\varphi_p(0)=0\); \(f,g:\mathbb R\times \mathbb R\mapsto \mathbb R\) are continuous in both arguments, \(T\)-periodic in the first argument; \(e\) is \(T\)-periodic, \(T>0\) being given. Equation (1) is considered under the following assumptions (\(H_1\)) There exist \(a>0\), \(b>0\) such that \[ xf(t,x)\leq - a|x|^2\ ,\ |f(t,x)|\leq b|x|\ ;\ \forall (t,x)\in \mathbb R^2 \] (\(H_2\)) There exists \(m>0\) such that \[ |g(t,x)|\leq m|x|\ ;\ \forall (t,x)\in \mathbb R^2 \] (\(H_3\)) For all \(t\in \mathbb R\), \(x\in \mathbb R\), \[ f(t+T/2,-x) = - f(t,x)\ ;\ g(t+T/2,-x) = - g(t,x)\ ;\ e(t+T/2)=-e(t) \] If \(mT<2a\pi\) and \[ \frac{2\sqrt{T}A\pi(a+b)}{2a\pi-mT}<1 \] where \[ A:=\left(\int_0^T|e(t)|^2dt\right)^{1/2} + \sup_{t\in \mathbb R}|e(t)|<+\infty \] then (1) has a unique anti-periodic solution, i.e., satisfying \[ u(t)=u(t+T)\ ,\ u(t+T/2)=-u(t)\ ;\ \forall t\in \mathbb R \]
