Using coincidence degree theory, this paper is devoted to study the existence of periodic solutions for a prescribed mean curvature Liénard equation with a deviating argument \[ \biggl(\frac {x'}{\sqrt{1 + x'{}^2}}\biggr)' + f(x(t)) x' (t) + g(t, x(t - \tau (t)))=e(t), \] where \(g \in C( \mathbb R^2, \mathbb R^1)\), \(f,e\) and \(\tau\) are \(T\)-periodic. The results are illustrated by an example.
