The \(d\)-dimensional fractional so-called Anderson model \( (-\triangle)^{\alpha} +V_{\omega} \) on \( l^2(Z^d) \) is considered where \( 0<\alpha\leq 1\). Here \(-\triangle\) is the negative discrete Laplacian and \( V{\omega} \) is the random Anderson potential. According to the authors, they investigate the integrated density states (IDS) of the discrete \(\alpha\)-fractional Laplacian perturbed by a random Anderson potential, \(H_{\alpha}=(-\triangle )^{\alpha} +V{\omega} \) acting on \( l^2(Z^d)\) where \( 0<\alpha\leq 1\), and \(d\) is the space dimension. In the beginning, the authors state the model and results, and show that the IDS can be obtained as the limit of spectral projections of a finite volume version of the Hamiltonian \(H_{\alpha}\). Then the authors show the fractional Lifshitz tails result.
