Asymptotically almost periodic solutions of limit periodic difference systems with coefficients from commutative groups (Q2178768)

Fix a commutative group \(\mathcal{X}\) of square matrices of order \(m\in\mathbb{N}\) over an infinite field \(\mathbb{F}\) with an absolute value. Every infinite sequence \(\left(\mathbf{A}_k\right)_{k=0}^\infty\) of matrices in \(\mathcal{X}\) determines a discrete dynamical system over \(\mathbb{F}^m\): the recursion \(\mathbf{x}_{k+1}=\mathbf{A}_k \mathbf{x}_k\). In this paper, the authors improve some existing results on such sequences by developing a boundedness-free condition on \(\mathcal{X}\) which suffices to ensure that, in the set of all such sequences which are limit periodic, the sequences corresponding to systems whose orbits vanish at infinity or are not asymptotically almost periodic form a dense subset.
