Non-closure of quantum correlation matrices and factorizable channels that require infinite dimensional ancilla (With an appendix by Narutaka Ozawa) (Q2181953)

The authors establish the results concerning the factorization of quantum channels in dimension \(N>11\) requiring infinite dimensional ancilla. The proof is based on recent developments of analysis in quantum information theory concerning the non-closure of certain sets of correlation matrices, provided by \textit{W. Slofstra} [Forum Math. Pi 7, Paper No. e1, 41 p. (2019; Zbl 1405.81021)] and Dykema, Paulsen and Prakash [\textit{K. Dykema} et al., Commun. Math. Phys. 365, No. 3, 1125--1142 (2019; Zbl 1408.81008)].
