The paper investigates positive radial solutions to the Neumann boundary value problem \[ \begin{cases} - \mathrm{div} \left( \dfrac{\nabla u}{\sqrt{1-|\nabla u|^{2}}} \right) = f(u), & \text{ in }\Omega,\\ \partial_{\nu} u = 0, & \text{ on }\partial\Omega, \end{cases} \] where \(\Omega\subseteq \mathbb{R}^{N}\) is either an open annulus or an open ball. The nonlinear term \(f\colon[0,+\infty[\to\mathbb{R}\) is a continuously differentiable function such that \(f(0)=f(s_{0})=0\), \(f(s)<0\) for \(0<s<s_{0}\), and \(f(s)>0\) for \(s>s_{0}\). Using a shooting method for ODEs, the authors analyse the existence, the multiplicity and the oscillatory behaviour of positive radial solutions (see Theorem 1.1 for the precise statement). It is interesting to remark that the presence of the Lorentz-Minkowski mean curvature operator allows to avoid growth assumptions on the nonlinearity \(f\), which are necessary, on the contrary, when dealing with the Laplacian or the \(p\)-Laplacian differential operators.
