A singularly perturbed semi-Markovian jump system with control is considered. An asynchronous sliding mode control law is obtained, such that the corresponding closed loop system is stochastically ultimate bounded subject to the semi-Markovian jump parameter and the small parameter of the singular perturbation. It is shown that the sliding surface can be reached almost surely in finite time with ultimate bounded behaviour. An application to an operational amplifier circuit is presented.
