A discrete-time semi-Markov jump system is considered and an appropriate sliding surface is designed. Sufficient conditions are found such that the sliding mode dynamics are sigma-error mean-square stable. A sliding mode learning control law is indicated to obtain reachability of the sliding mode surface and chattering reduction.
