Nonlinear vibration analysis of composite blade with variable rotating speed using Chebyshev polynomials (Q2190083)

In this paper, the rotating blade is regarded as a rotating cantilever plate with variable rotating speed. The complicated nonlinear vibrations and the chaotic dynamics are investigated. According to Reddy's third-order shear laminates theory and von Karman's geometric nonlinearity theory, the nonlinear governing ordinary differential equations with generalized displacement expression are obtained by Hamilton's principle. The influence of different structural parameters on the natural frequency of the rotating blade and the influence of disturbance speed parameters and aerodynamic parameters on the nonlinear dynamics of the system are studied. The method of multiple scales is applied to obtain the averaged equations in the case of 1:2 internal resonance. Numerical simulations are performed to obtain the frequency-response curves, the amplitude-response curves and the complex nonlinear dynamic behavior of the rotating cantilever plate with variable rotating speed. The effect of the aerodynamic force and the perturbation amplitude of the rotating speed on the complicated nonlinear vibrations have been discussed, and the complicated nonlinear behavior such as chaotic motion and bifurcation is obtained by numerical analysis.
