A Sturm-Liouville equation of the form \[-y''+qy=\lambda y\] acting on a graph \(G\) with finitely many edges, each of length \(1\) is considered. At all vertices continuity and Kirchoff conditions are imposed. If \(|E|\) denotes the number of edges and \(|V|\) the number of vertices, it is shown that there are \(|E|-|V|+2\) distinct (with suitable correction for multiplicities) sequences of eigenvalues obeying the asymptotic development \[\lambda=(2k\pi)^2+O(1)\] as \(k\to\infty\) and these can be choose so that at least one of these sequences has asymptotic development \[\lambda=(2k\pi)^2+\frac{1}{|E|}\int_G d+o(1).\] Further, if \(\lambda=0\) is the minimal eigenvalue and all of the above noted \(|E|-|V|+2\) sequences can be choose to obey the asymptotic development \[\lambda=(2k\pi)^2+o(1)\] then \(q=0\) a.e. on \(G\).
