This article is concerned with space-time Trefftz discontinuous Galerkin method for approximating the acoustic wave equation semi-explicitly on tent pitched meshes. The approach relies on discontinuous test and trial functions, which solve the wave equation locally. Further, tent pitched meshes allows the local solvability of the equation elementwise with locally optimal advances in time.
