Regularity, Rees algebra, and Betti numbers of certain cover ideals (Q2193021)

Let $S$ be a polynomial ring in $n$ variables, the ideal of the Rees algebra of special class of squarefree monomial ideals generated in degree $n-2$ is studied. More precisely, the authors study Rees algebras of cover ideals of certain graphs. As a consequence, they prove that Betti numbers of powers of the cover ideal of the complement graph of a tree do not depend on the choice of the tree and study the regularity and Betti numbers of powers of cover ideals associated.
