A classical theorem of Wiener says that if a continuous function on the unit circle has absolutely convergent Fourier series and vanishes nowhere, then the reciprocal also has absolutely convergent Fourier series. Its generalisation, the Wiener-Lévi theorem, says that analytic functions act on such functions: if \(\varphi\) is analytic near range \(f\) and \(f\) has absolutely convergent Fourier series, then so does \(\varphi \circ f\). There are \(p\)-power analogues and weighted analogues. This paper is concerned with weighted \(p\)-analogues which fills a gap in the work of \textit{A. El Kinani} and \textit{L. Bouchikhi} [Rend. Circ. Mat. Palermo (2) 63, No. 2, 301--309 (2014; Zbl 1321.46052); ibid. 61, No. 3, 331--341 (2012; Zbl 1268.46033)]. With suitable conditions on the weights, the results are: 1. If \(f\) is nonvanishing and \(\widehat f\in \ell^p(\omega)\), then \(g=1/f\) satisfies \(\widehat g\in \ell^p(\nu)\), where \(1\leq \nu \leq K\omega\) for some \(K>0.\) 2. If \(\varphi\) is analytic near range \(f\) and \(\widehat f\in \ell^p(\omega)\), then \(\widehat h\in \ell^p(\chi)\), where \(h=\varphi \circ f\) and \(1\leq \chi \leq K\omega.\)
