Let \(B\) be a Euclidean circular disc with center \(o\). A topological disc is an image of \(B\) under a homeomorphism of the Euclidean plane. A monohedral tiling of \(B\) with tiles \(B_1,\ldots,B_k\) is given when \(B_1,\dots,B_k\) are mutually congruent topological discs with disjoint interiors such that \(B=B_1 \cup \dots \cup B_k\). It is shown that every monohedral tiling of \(B\) with \(k \in \{2,3\}\) tiles has a \(k\)-fold rotational symmetry with center \(o\). In particular, there is no monohedral tiling of \(B\) with \(k \le 3\) tiles such that at least one tile does not contain \(o\).
