The authors are interested in Kazhdan-Lusztig immanants, as defined in [\textit{B. Rhoades} and \textit{M. Skandera}, J. Algebra 304, No. 2, 793--811 (2006; Zbl 1129.15005)]. Immanants are functions defined for square matrices that generalize the notion of determinants. They give conditions on \(v\in S_n\) so that the Kazhdan-Lusztig immanant corresponding to \(v\) is positive on \(k\)-positive matrices.
