Let \(L\) be Anosov automorphism of the torus \(\mathbb{T}^d\) and \(f\) be a volume-preserving \(C^1\)-small perturbation of \(L.\) The authors show that if 1) \(L\) has no more than two eigenvalues of the same modulus; 2) \(L^4\) is irreducible over \(\mathbb{Q}\); 3) the Lyapunov exponents of \(f\) with respect to the volume are the same as the Lyapunov exponents of \(L\); then \(f\) is \(C^{1+}\) conjugate to \(L\). The proof is based on the Journé Lemma and on a continuous amenable reduction. The authors also establish a similar result for irreducible partially hyperbolic automorphisms with two-dimensional center bundle and its \(C^N\)-small perturbation for some \(N.\) The result obtained in the paper is related to the previous result of the same authors [Math. Res. Lett. 18, No. 5, 843--858 (2011; Zbl 1271.37031)] and it extends the work [\textit{R. Saghin} and \textit{J. Yang}, Adv. Math. 355, Article ID 106764, 45 p. (2019; Zbl 1461.37033)].
