We say that \(\varphi:\mathbb{R}^{n}\times[0,\infty)\rightarrow[0,\infty)\) is a growth function if the it satisfies the following conditions: \par 1) It is a Musielak-Orlicz function, namely \(\varphi(x,\cdot)\) is an Orlicz function for every \(x\in\mathbb{R}^{n}\), and \(\varphi(\cdot,t)\) is a measurable function for every \(t\in[0,\infty)\), \par 2) \(\varphi(\cdot,t)\) is an \(A_{\infty}\) weight for every \(t>0\). \par 3) \(\varphi\) is of lower type \(p\), namely for every \(x\in\mathbb{R}^{n}\), every \(t\in[0,\infty)\) and every \(s\in(0,1]\) we have that \[ \varphi(x,st)\leq cs^{p}\varphi(x,t). \] Given a growth function \(\varphi\) we define the Musielak-Orlicz space \(WL^{\varphi}(\mathbb{R}^{n})\) as the space of functions such that \(\sup_{t>0}\varphi\left(\{|f|>t\},\frac{t}{\lambda}\right)<\infty\) endowed with the quasi-norm \[ \|f\|_{WL^{\varphi}}=\inf\left\{ \lambda\in(0,\infty)\,:\,\sup_{t>0}\varphi\left(\{|f|>t\},\frac{t}{\lambda}\right)\leq1\right\} \] and the Musielak-Orlicz space \(WH^{\varphi}(\mathbb{R}^{n})\) is the space of all \(f\in\mathcal{S}'\) such that \(f^\ast \in WL^{\varphi}\) endowed with the quasi-norm \[ \|f\|_{WH^{\varphi}}:=\|f^\ast \|_{WL^{\varphi}}, \] where \(f^\ast\) stands for the non-tangential maximal function \[ f_{m}^\ast (x)=\sup_{\psi\in\mathcal{S}_{m}} \sup_{ |x-y| < t, \, t\in(0,\infty) }|f^\ast \psi_{t}(y)| \] for a suitable choice of \(m\) related to \(\varphi\). Note that the definitions above allows to recover classical weighted and unweighted Lebesgue, Orlicz and Hardy spaces. We say that \(\Omega\) defined on \(\mathbb{R}^{n}\times\mathbb{R}^{n}\) is said to be in \(L^{\infty}(\mathbb{R}^{n})\times L^{q}(\mathbb{S}^{n-1})\) with \(q\geq 1\) if \(\Omega(x,z)\) satisfies the following conditions \[ \Omega(x,\lambda z)=\Omega(x,z)\qquad x,y\in\mathbb{R}^{n}\quad\text{and }\lambda\in(0,\infty)\tag{1} \] \[ \int_{\mathbb{S}^{n-1}}\Omega(x,z)d(z^\prime)=0\quad\text{for any }x\in\mathbb{R}^{n}\tag{2} \] \[ \sup_{x\in\mathbb{R}^{n}}\left(\int_{\mathbb{S}^{n-1}}\left|\Omega(x,z)\right|^{q}d(z^\prime)\right)^{\frac{1}{q}}<\infty, \] where \(z^\prime=\frac{z}{|z|}\) for any \(z\not=0\). Given such an \(\Omega\) we set \(K(x,z)=\frac{\Omega(x,z^\prime)}{|z|}\) the Calderón-Zygmund operator with variable kernel is defined by \[ Tf(x):=\text{pv}\int_{\mathbb{R}^{n}}K(x,x-y)f(y)dy. \] Some regularity conditions that are used in the paper under review are the following Hörmander type conditions. Given \(q\in(1,\infty]\) and \(\Omega\in L^{\infty}(\mathbb{R}^{n})\times L^{q}(\mathbb{S}^{n-1})\) \[ \sup_{R>0}\sup_{x\in\mathbb{R}^{n},\,0< |y| < R}\sum_{m=1}^{\infty}(2^{m}R)^{\frac{n}{q^\prime}}\left(\int_{2^{m}R\leq|z|<2^{m+1}R}|K(x,z-y)-K(x,z)|^{q}dz\right)^{\frac{1}{q}}<\infty \] \[ \sup_{R>0}\sup_{x,y\in\mathbb{R}^{n},\,0< |x-y| < R}\sum_{m=1}^{\infty}(2^{m}R)^{\frac{n}{q^\prime}}\left(\int_{2^{m}R\leq|z|<2^{m+1}R}|K(x,z)-K(y,z)|^{q}dz\right)^{\frac{1}{q}}<\infty\] Also Dini conditions are considered. Given \(q\in[1,\infty)\) and \(\alpha\in(0,1]\) \(\Omega\) is said to satisfy the \(L^{q,\alpha}\)-Dini condition if it satisfies (1), (2) and \[ \sup_{x\in\mathbb{R}^{n},r\in[0,\infty)}\left(\int_{\mathbb{S}^{n-1}}|\Omega(x+rz^\prime,z^\prime)|^{q}d\sigma(z^\prime)\right)^{\frac{1}{q}}<\infty \] and also \[ \int_{0}^{1}\frac{\omega_{q}(\delta)}{\delta^{1+\alpha}}<\infty, \] where \[ \omega_{q}(\delta):=\sup_{x\in\mathbb{R}^{n},\,r\in[0,\infty)}\left(\int_{\mathbb{S}^{n-1}}\sup_{y^\prime\in\mathbb{S}^{n-1},|y^\prime-z^\prime|\leq\delta}|\Omega(x+rz^\prime,y^\prime)-\Omega(x+rz^\prime,z^\prime)|^{q}d\sigma(z^\prime)\right)^{\frac{1}{q}}. \] The main results of the paper are the following. Theorem 1. Let \(\alpha\in(0,1]\), \(r\in(1,\infty]\) and \(\varphi\) be a growth function with \(p\in\left(\frac{n}{n+\alpha},1\right)\). Suppose that \(\Omega\in L^{\infty}(\mathbb{R}^{n})\times L^{r}(\mathbb{S}^{n-1})\), that it satisfies a \(L^{1,\beta}\)-Dini condition for every \(\beta<\alpha\) and that it satisfies as well the Hörmander conditions above. If additionally \(\varphi^{\frac{1}{1-p}}\in A_{\frac{p\alpha}{n(1-p)}}\), then \(T\) is bounded from \(WH^{\varphi}\) to \(WL^{\varphi}\). Theorem 2. Let \(\alpha\in(0,1]\), \(q\in(1,\infty)\) and \(\varphi\) be a growth function with \(p\in\left(\frac{n}{n+\alpha},1\right)\). Suppose that \(\Omega\) satisfies a \(L^{q,\beta}\)-Dini condition for every \(\beta<\alpha\) and that it satisfies as well the Hörmander conditions above. If additionally \(\varphi^{q^\prime}A_{\left(p+\frac{p\alpha}{n}-\frac{1}{q}\right)q^\prime}\) then \(T\) is bounded from \(WH^{\varphi}\) to \(WL^{\varphi}\). Theorem 3. Let \(r\in(1,\infty]\) and \(\varphi\) be a growth function with \(p=1\) and \(\varphi\in A_{1}\). Suppose that \(\Omega\in L^{\infty}(\mathbb{R}^{n})\times L^{r}(\mathbb{S}^{n-1})\) satisfies the Hörmander conditions above. If there exist two positive constants \(C\) and \(M\) such that for any \(y,h\in\mathbb{R}^{n}\) and \(t\in(0,\infty)\) \[ \int_{|x|\geq M|y|}|K(x+h,x-y)-K(x+h,x)|\varphi(x+h,t)dx\leq\frac{C}{M}\varphi\left(y+h,t\right) \] then \(T\) is bounded from \(WH^{\varphi}\) to \(WL^{\varphi}\).
