The authors study the existence of periodic solutions for a class of nonautonomous second-order ordinary differential equations \[ x^{\prime\prime}+\alpha x^{\prime}+a(t)x^{n}-b(t)x^{n+1} +c(t)x^{n+2}=0, \] where \(\alpha\in\mathbb{R}\) is a constant, \(n\) is a finite positive integer, and \(a(t), b(t), c(t)\) are continuous positive periodic functions. Mawhin's continuation theorem is used to prove the existence of two positive solutions. The case when \(a(t), b(t), c(t)\) are negative is also treated. The paper is not very well written, and I think that the editors should at least have corrected the English language before publication.
