In this paper, the authors model the evolution of population density of k-species through a degenerate parabolic system of porous medium equations. Under suitable regularity assumptions, they study the asymptotic behavior and the show that the solutions converge to the Barenblatt solutions. lastly the prove a Harnack inequality and they also find 1-directional travelling wave type solutions.
