This article discusses three different meshfree kernel-based methods for the spatial discretisation of semilinear parabolic partial differential equations on surfaces. Precisely, the authors consider the collocatiion, th Galerkin, and the Radial-Basis-Function method. The advantages and drawbacks of these methods are discussed and previously known theoretical results are extended and numerically verified.
