The authors prove first one-dimensional Hardy-type inequalities in $L_1$ and $L_p$. Such inequalities are of a special interest, because they are connected with partial differential equations with the so-called 1-Laplacian, an analog of the usual operator and $p$-Laplacian for $p>1$. The constants in these inequalities depend on the Lamb constant, which is the first positive solution to a special equation for the Bessel function. The second part of the paper is devoted to multidimensional inequalities in convex domains in $\mathbb{R}^n$ of finite inner radius. Here, \textit{F. G. Avkhadiev}'s [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 442, No. 2, 469--484 (2016; Zbl 1342.26046)] approach is used, which is based on classical approximation of domains by cubes. The results extend some theorems by \textit{F. G. Avkhadiev} and \textit{K. J. Wirths} [Bull. Belg. Math. Soc. - Simon Stevin 18, No. 4, 723--736 (2011; Zbl 1237.26014)].
